The Tilt ARC Pro scooter SCS has a different look and is slightly lighter than the immensely popular traditional Tilt SCS we all know. It comes with Metric 8 bolts for extra clamping power. Pre-applied anti-seize to prevent bolts from seizing in the clamp. The Tilt ARC SCS clamp is 3” tall which makes it suitable for scooter forks with shorter steerer tubes. Ideally, the steerer of your fork sticks up between 1.25” and 1 3/8” above your headset. Tilt  SCS comes with a shim so it can be used with both standard 1 1/4" outside diameter as well as oversized 1 3/8" OD pro scooter bars and aluminum bars. Tilt ARC SCS comes in many anodized colors and is CNC machined in Illinois from 6061 T-6 aircraft grade aluminum. The clamp comes with improved compression cap and M8 compression bolt (allen #6 drive) for the 2017 Tilt forks. Let us know in the comments of your order if you need a conventional M6 compression bolt (allen #5 drive).

THREADLESS FORKS ONLY! Because of their long steerer tube, not recommended with District, Lucky, 5Starr, and MGP forks.

THREADLESS FORKS ONLY! Because of their long steerer tube, not recommended with District, Lucky, 5Starr, and MGP pro scooter forks.
Put grease or anti seize compound on the threads of the clamp bolts and under the head of the bolts! This prevents bolts from getting stuck in the clamp and allows you to tighten the bolts better. This SCS is only 3 inches tall so there is only 1.5 inches of space in the clamp for your fork which means in most cases (except Phoenix, Tilt, and Urban Artt forks) it may be required to trim your fork down so you have 1.25"- 1.40" steerer above headset . If you are not currently using an SCS  you will need to cut 1.5 inches off the bottom of your pro scooter bars as well to maintain your same bar height and remove the slit.
